The Dance Company "The Petersburg Souvenir"

We are very glad to present you an important and remarkable dancing group, “The dance company "The Petersburg Souvenir”  of Saint-Petersburg of Russian Federation,

The dance company "The Petersburg Souvenir"  ,  so called to honor Alexander Salomatov, is a world renowned group that is a constant participant in state and city events. 

In 1985 Alexander and Liydmila Salomatov\'s created a dance group, which over time grew into choreographic ensemble "The Souvenir Leningrad and later - dance company " The St. Petersburg Souvenir ".

Currently, the group has about 250 children and adolescents from 7 to 25 years and older. Every age group has its own folk, contemporary, storylines and game dance combinations. Over 25 years of creative activity in the ensemble has changed several generations of kids. Many dancers who have served in the army, or entered the university, continue to engage in the ensemble, helping in the training of young children.

Repertoire of the ensemble is formed and added to the best samples of domestic and foreign choreographic art. The repertoire of the ensemble are whiter than 60 dance works, with which team performs at concerts in government, international, national and urban activities.

Thanks to the professionalism of teachers, choreographers and talent of the guys, the ensemble received the title of "Exemplary Company".

The ensemble has a professional company. The orchestra of Russian folk instruments.

The Dance Company "The Petersburg Souvenir" by. A. Salomatov had success festivals and tours in Poland, England, France, Germany, Bulgaria, Latvia, Estonia, Finland, Turkey, USA and Switzerland.

Also, on 27th April, "The Petersburg Souvenir" is having a great concert  in the most prestigious Concert Hall in St. Petersburg as the group is celebrating its 25th anniversary

Lady Lyudmila Salomatova, is the Artistic Director of the Company, Honored Culture Worker of the Russian Federation and,  Mr. Maxim Salomatov is the Ballet Master, Youth Prize Laureate of St.Petersburg (Béjart, Maurice school graduate, Switzerland)

Mrs. Mica Pappa Sevou and Mr. Christos Tentzerakis, representing the Foundation Greek Dance Archives and IOV Hellas, are invited by the administration of the Dance Company "The Petersburg Souvenir",  to honor the 25^th Anniversary of this remarkable  Group, in the glorious  City of Saint-Petersburg .
