Born and raised in Athens.
Her father, an Air Force officer from Epirus, instilled in her from childhood a love for his birthplace and its traditions, bringing her into frequent contact with customs and dance performances of Sklivani, Ioannina. From an early age she played an active role in cultural events as special secretary for the association of which her father was president for many years and worked closely with the Panepirus Federation.

Her father, an Air Force officer from Epirus, instilled in her from childhood a love for his birthplace and its traditions, bringing her into frequent contact with customs and dance performances of Sklivani, Ioannina.
From an early age she played an active role in cultural events as special secretary for the association of which her father was president for many years and worked closely with the Panepirus Federation.
She gained a place at the Athens University of Medicine, but was to choose Olympic Airways (Greece National Airlines) instead where she worked as an Air-Hostess, for 18 years.
Thus she was given the unique opportunity to get to know the special customs and distinctive traditions of many nations, keeping alive her contact with the cultural sphere that had always attracted her so much.
At the same time she studied History of Art in Greece and Italy.
She worked in public relations with the "Dora Stratou" Theater and served as head of public relations of the Greek society I.O.F.A -Greek section which she left in 2002 having become aware of it not being connected to the world organization “International Organization of Folk Art”-I.O.V.
In 2003 the founder of IOV, Alexander Veigl, assigned to her the IOV representation for Greece with functional relations with UNESCO -which was made official, following the General Assemblies in China in 2004 and in Volos-Greece in 2007.
Since 2002 she has been Administrative Consultant for Greek Dance Archives.
She has participated in Greece and abroad in many International Congresses and Seminars for research on traditional dance.
Mica has written four books and overseen the issue of many CDs of traditional songs and has coordinated five television productions for the State TV channel, NET.
She was the Chief Coordinator for six International Symposiums of GREEK DANCE ARCHIVES: " Influences on traditional dances during the Transition from Rural to Urban Environment" , 2002 - 2006.
She was the Chief Coordinator for the World Congress: “COSMO ECHO” in Athens, 2007.
In May 2007 she successfully organized the 5th World General Assembly of IOV in Volos.
In 2008 she was member on the committee for the program realization of European Society of Information, for the presentation of the music and dance traditions of the Prefecture of Preveza on the website: “GUIDE TO THE REGION OF EPIRUS
In to 2009 and 2011 she was chief coordinator in many cultural projects in Greece and abroad.
She also speaks three foreign languages,English, French and Italian.
