DANCING TOGETHER AND IMPROVISATION OF THE CORYPHEE

Following the success of “COSMO ECHO – CONSONANCE OF PEOPLE OF THE EARTH” organized with the participation of 120 delegate from many  countries, GREEK DANCE ARCHIVES, with the aim of continuing activities with a worldwide reputation, would like to announce the organization of the World Festival of Traditional Dance “COSMO DANCE - DANCING TOGETHER AND IMPROVISATION OF THE CORYPHEE”, with the participation of 20 groups from all the continents.

Collaborating with many Cultural Sectors in Greece and abroad, the preparations for the organization of this grand event are commencing two years in advance to ensure a Festival of high standards with the participation of the best dance groups in the world.

The singular local traditions of our country will be represented by dance associations which have a strong, enduring presence in dance activities of their region and would be capable of meeting the high standards demanded.

The dance events of the participating groups will be hosted by important ARTIUM Hall in Athens.

The program of the Festival, the application form, the terms of participation and the conditions of accommodation of participating dancing Groups, will be posted shortly.

Furthermore, a Symposium on “IMPROVISATION OF THE CORYPHEE” will take place on November2011.
