AIMS:
The objectives of the organizing bodies are to host an important cultural event in the area which will celebrate contemporary representations of Greek traditional dance and aspects of the popular culture of other states.

Worthy ambassadors of particular dance traditions from Greece and other countries will present a wealth of folk culture.

The events will establish coexistence between a wide variety of cultural, traditional and dance experiences and promote the music and tradition of Crete and other areas.

WITH THE PARTICIPATION OF:

·        The famous Mexican traditional musical and dancing group from the capital of Mexico, Mexico City, the “ESTAMPAS DE MEXICO”

·        From the New Zealand, a delegation with songs and dances of the ancient race of MAORI -Coordinator, Mrs Kataraina Pikimaunga Perrett.

·        From the inland of Crete, the Dancing Association of Chania “ THE ARODAMOS”

·        From Thessalonica, “THE MUNICIPAL DANCE SECTION OF EVOSMOS”

·        The DANCING GROUP "KEXOT OF TRIPOLIS"

·        The Dancing Groups of the EDUCATIONAL & CULTURAL ASSOCIATION OF VLACHS FROM ARCHANGELOS

The Dancing Group of North Greece “ THE AKRITES OF PONTOS”

And the Traditional Chorus and Orchestra of the conservatoire “Odeon Ioannis Manioudakis"
